my name is Viola and I'm an interdisciplinary artist in the fields of music, visual art and intuituive sound performance.

​

Music and art have been my own personal steadfast anchor since I was little. Now I live my life in the midst of a world of sound and images. Nothing feels more honest and right than expressing what's constantly shakes me up and moves, touches and changes me. It's all about capturing the truth of the moment without any filter. This truth might be beautiful yet ugly, repulsive but attractive, bright and dark at the same time. It is what it is.

My music project circle&wind enables me to process darker episodes of my live that were and sometimes still are consequences of traumas I had to experience. But it also reminds me of the light(ness) and love I have been able to keep in my heart and my soul.

Paintings and drawings also serve as a valve and mouthpiece for me - in a haptical way -  and helps me to capture the various facettes of beauty.

In 2017 I had my first, very spontaneous Sense Session with someone close to me and I am still deeply grateful for the opportunity to create connection with so many different people from all over the world.

Over the years, I have learned to accept that I am an artist and a highly sensitive empath - with all it's positive and sometimes negative side effects.

I know deep trauma and pain. I know the heavy and the dark. There's no need to feel ashamed if these are no strangers to you, too. Yet, I also know light and joy and love.

And so I want to remind you that you are so much more than your trauma and your pain.
